FIRST LECTURE
Welcome to the first lecture, Wednesday 29.8.2012, 12.15 at Skolestua, room number 114 in Geologibygningen.
The first hour will be an introduction to the curriculum, and the second hour will be a introduction to X-ray physics and electromagnetism. You will find the e-book Electron Microprobe Analysis and Scanning Electron Microscopy in Geology Second edition By S. J. B. Reed University of Cambridge
at the UiO library. Read the first chapter of this book before the lecture.
The first lab/demonstration will start on Monday 3.9.2012. Participants will be divided in groups and exact times for each group will be set during the first lecture.
