1. The exam will occur only in English (but you can answer in English or Norwegian as you want)

This is the plan for the remaining weeks before the exam.

November 22. No lecture/group session

November 29. The lecture will be a review of last years Exam. No group session.

December 6. There will be a group session where we repeat stuff from the curriculum. (Send mail to Sigurd, if you have something specific on your mind.)

The correct test-data for mandatory assignment 3 has not been been available.  This is now corrected.

The assignment text appears in right hand column of the course page. The deadline is Monday November 14.

Due to lack of students the group sessions on Fridays are canceled for the rest of the semester.

Suggested solutions to most of the weekly exercises are now available under "Løsningsforslag".

The rest of the chapters we need from the main textbook are now available as PDF-files under the heading "Pensum/læringskrav" at the course page. This second "batch" contains the chapters 6, 8, 10, 26, plus the table of contents for the full book.  Chapter 26 ics complementary Reading about NP-completeness.

A full curriculum list will appear later, but it will be closely similar to the one from 2015, see http://www.uio.no/studier/emner/matnat/ifi/INF4130/h15/pensumliste/pensum-2015.pdf .

The chapters we need from the main textbook will be available as PDF-files under the heading "Pensum/læringskrav" at the course page.  The first "batch" of these has in fact been accessible from the very start of the course (but has not been well announced, see the first message/beskjed this semester). The first batch contains Chapters: 9, 14, 20 and 23. Ch. 10 (referred to 13/9-2016) will occur in next batch.

More chapters will become available as they are needed!

Gruppetimen tirsdag 20. går som vanlig rett etter forelesning på rom Postscript.
 

Gruppe 1 undervises nå i Postscript(2458) på tirsdager 12:15 - 14:00. Det er kun 36 plasser i Postscript, så det vil muligens være fullt de første gruppeøvelsene. Hvis det skulle være plassmangel kan det tenkes at det i starten er bedre å følge gruppe 2 i Smalltalk.
