I have sent out notifications of assignment 1 submissions. If you have sent in a solution to assignment 1 and haven't got a notification contact me at bartloms@ifi.uio.no

Please note that the lecture on Tuesday, February 7 has to be moved to Wednesday, February 8, 14.15-16 in seminar room 2438, Logo, in OJD's building.

Since the deadline for the first assignment is nearing I'd like to share a few tips how to hand it in efficiently:

• You can hand in the paper version or email the solutions to bartloms@ifi.uio.no
• If you solve problems on paper and wish to use an email you can just send in the scans/pictures.
• For programming exercises I prefer to get the source code via email. Also please do not embed the code in PDF files.
