Ahoy, Ongoing research project at InterMedia needs users for testing! The Gidder - Groups in Digital Dialogue project is looking for 2 or 3 students to participate in developing and carrying out usability tests, starting immediately and lasting for about 3 weeks (approx. 2-3 hours each week). Testing centers on the use of a mobile phone blogging application developed for use in a wiki. Must have a mobile phone that can send MMS's. NOK 500 per 'user', and MMS expenses will be reimbursed. Ahoy, this is a message about the submission of the wonder document.

Each student group will get access to a web area on Vortex. This area can be used for exchange of documents, project plans and so forth like the wonder document, mid-term report and the final report.

In order to get access, please send an e-mail from each project group to: jo.herstad@ifi.uio.no with one user name and the title of the project.

Mini user guide

• Log in by using “administer this document” at the bottom of the web page.
• Use your uio user name and password.
• Documentation and help on vortex is found in a link on the top of the page.

In order to give the rest of the group write access

• One person in each group owns the area – and this person can give the others access.
• Under “permissions”, choose “edit”.
• Add the user names for the rest of the participants in your project.

Hi everyone! Good news: we now have fronter and you can log in with your usual user name and password. You can make your language selection before you click on the login button. Please make postings of ideas for projects in english, at least until all the groups are formed (until the wondering document is due). Here is the link to class fronter. There is now a common room for all students (you get there by choosing it from the menu at the upper right hand corner where is says:choose room) and your ideas should be posted there... Alma

Ahoy, please note that there will be no group Thursday 16:15-18 at the Veglaboratorium. Please come to the Monday or Tuesday groups next week for discussing the projects at the Childrens museum and at Trafikanten. Jo
